Why are Mentoring Minds and Curriculum Associates merging?
Curriculum Associates (creator of the i-Ready program) and Mentoring Minds share a core commitment to serving educators and supporting students. Both Curriculum Associates and Mentoring Minds are educator-founded and deeply committed to service, putting the needs of students and educators first. Ultimately, it is the fundamental similarity in our values that convinced both teams that this was the right partnership. Curriculum Associates will provide Mentoring Minds with the scale and resources to reach even more customers and strengthen the product experience and delivery.
Will there be any changes to Mentoring Minds’ products?
There will be no changes to ThinkUp! print products. The ThinkUp! Standards Mastery System will migrate to a new digital environment in time for teachers and students to access and enjoy during the 2021-22 school year.
Mentoring Minds digital customers will have now have access to i-Ready resources that require a professional development investment. Your customer service representative will be in contact with you to discuss what this means for you and to begin to schedule these sessions where applicable.
Customers will be notified by your Mentoring Minds contact of any other product implications that would impact your students.
Why is the ThinkUp! Standards Mastery System moving to a new digital platform?
To ensure greater scalability, stability, and best in class security, our combined companies have decided to prioritize a single platform. We know it is of utmost importance to provide a single vision of customer excellence and address needs across companies rather than separately. While using a new system requires adjustment, we ultimately believe that this vision will enable us to deliver the best of Mentoring Minds and Curriculum Associates programs as quickly as possible.
Will this change the way Mentoring Minds does business?
In terms of commitment to students and teachers, it doesn’t. Your Mentoring Minds partners are not changing, and the team remains focused on delivering the plans, products, and services you expect from us for the ‘21-’22 school year. Our expanded Mentoring Minds + Curriculum Associates team is doing our best to minimize disruptions to students and educators, and any changes to existing ways of working will be communicated by your Mentoring Minds contact.
What will happen to customer pricing?
There will be no changes to customer pricing at this time. However, we believe that we are providing incredible value this year. Please reach out to your sales representatives to learn more.
Who will manage and support customers’ accounts?
Customer support remains a top priority. Customers should continue to contact their existing sales or customer success representatives at Mentoring Minds.
